This exhibit shows the works of architect/furniture designer, David Khouri.
David came to furniture design through architecture. He attended Columbia
University, where he graduated in 1987 with a masters degree in both
Architecture and Historic Preservation. After years of practicing architecture,
he left to start Comma in 1997. Comma is a line of furnishings that was first
introduced at the 1998 ICFF in New York City. David has enjoyed favorable response,
having been featured in numerous publications, including Wallpaper*, Abitare,
and the New York Times. Comma selections appear in the 1999 International
Design Yearbook edited by Jasper Morrison. Also, several pieces that David
designed for inside design/Wilsonart appear in the 2000 International Design
Yearbook edited by Ingo Mauer.
