PARTNER:JIM HUFF
"Why settle for the ordinary when life is so extraordinary?" questions the
rambunctious Jim Huff. Huff, an exuberant design aficionado, is best
described as a freelance, maverick design curator because of his fiercely
independent spirit and his exceptional eye for design. His friendly,
trustworthy and passionate persona has endeared him to the international
vanguard of design while making design outsiders feel comfortable. In 1996
Huff opened inside design, a retail store and studio promoting modern design
and designers, which brought good design to the barren mid-west. This
intimate knowledge of the business of design has lead to creative design
development and promotional events. His endeavors have been featured
nationally and internationally in publications such as House Beautiful,
Interior Design, Architectural Record and Intramuros and his honors include
the 1999 and 2000 ICFF Editor's Awards.
PARTNER:GRACE JEFFERS
"My goal is to make people aware of the man-made world we live in." says
Jeffers. She accomplishes this by being an educator, a marketing consultant
and a design advocate all at once. Her background is unique as Jeffers is
both a practicing designer and a degreed design historian whose
interdisciplinary approach synthesizes art history, anthropology and real
world experience. Her work has earned accolades including the National Merit
Award for Historic Preservation, the Metropolitan Home Modernism Award, the
ICFF Editor's Award for Best Body of Work and the Chicago Athenaeum Good
Design Award and recognition by publications such as Time, Newsweek,
